2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupes have arrived at Mercedes-Benz of El Paso
You know you have taken delivery of special car when its arrival sends the entire dealership team into a frenzy.
This was the case when our first all-new for 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe rolled into Mercedes-Benz of El Paso.
The C300 Coupe has been completely resculpted for 2017 and it is truly stunning from the all-business front end that has been bolstered with larger air intakes to a rear that looks like it spent a lot of time doing squats at the gym. The new swooping lines flow over a car that has been lowered 0.6 inches and stretched to be 3.7 inches longer and 1.6 inches wider than its predecessor. The end result is a more spacious passenger cabin and improved handling thanks to a slightly longer wheelbase.
And did we mention how gorgeous it looks? The combination of new bodywork and a lower, more aggressive stance gives the C300 Coupe a serious jolt of muscle that could best described as liquid granite.
For the team at Mercedes-Benz, the new body was merely the amuse bouche when it came to the 2017 C300 Coupe’s enhancements.
The Panorama Sunroof is now a standard feature across the C300 Coupe range. The Panorama Sunroof arcs all the to the rear passenger area to give everyone an open air feel and blue sky views while offering full UV protection. For those times when you want to cool off a bit or have some additional privacy, simply engage the Panorama Sunroof’s Shade Mode.
Performance and safety have always going hand-in-hand at Mercedes-Benz and the 2017 C300 Coupe is packed with a host of features to help keep those in (and out) of the vehicle safe. Included in every model are Attention Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist with more autonomous features being available through the optional Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive Suite.
For 2017, the driver and passenger experience is enhanced through the C300 Coupe’s all-new infotainment system that is intuitive as it is enjoyable for both parties to operate and enjoy. One detail that is representative of the magnitude of thought Mercedes-Benz put their new C-Class coupe is a GPS based climate control feature. Driving through a tunnel? The C300 Coupe will automatically close its fresh air vents to ensure ensure cabin air quality before re-opening them once the tunnel is passed.
Now that we’ve discussed the C300 Coupe’s safety features, let’s turn our attention to the other reason why motorists worldwide choose Mercedes-Benz.
The 2017 C300 Coupe is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline four cylinder engine that boasts 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque which translates to enough oomph to thrust you from 0 to 60 in a very brisk 5.9 seconds.
Connected to this powerhouse of an engine is a seven speed automatic transition which provides seamless engagement throughout the power band whether you’re driving in Eco, Comfort, Sport, or, our personal favorite here at Mercedes-Benz of El Paso motive, Sport+ mode.
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe is available in both in a standard rear wheel drive configuration or as an all-wheel drive using Mercedes-Benz’s proven 4MATIC system.
MSRP for the base C300 Coupe and C300 Coupe 4MATIC start at $42,650 and $44,650 respectively.
